My first entry!!

It's like buying a new pair of underwear and wearing them for the first time! This is my new blog, which was created specifically for the purpose of keeping my friends and family intertwined in absolutely EVERYTHING that I do while I am away. So, it is 4 days until departure, and...coincidentally, Christmas Eve Day. Let me just start with a description of Julia, Ang and myself last night and our mistake of going to Wal*Mart on Christmas Eve:

The battle in the parking lot was most likely comparable to the Spanish Armada, except, without the whole Spanish Armada part. However, we saw this soccer mom pull the best/worst park job ever in the parking lot, and while ice pellets were smashing on our heads, we managed to laugh at her ridiculous actions. After finally getting through the perturbed parking lot, we managed to push through the entry doors. Ang was singing T.I. I mistakenly thought that she meant T.I. was in the store, so I go.. WHERE!? T.I. is in the Franklin Mills Wal*Mart!?

...That was just the first two minutes.

I bravely chose to go with Julia into the men's section. It was a dark, destructive path...Clothes were strewn everywhere like (insert some cool metaphor here). We desperately found what Julia needed and ventured into the depths of the checkout line.
Of course, we heard Ang. We didn't SEE her, because if you know Ang, you always HEAR her before you SEE her. Therefore, we heard her, then saw her. She was extremely flustered for she lacked what she needed: some cheap Christmas Cards.

After waiting in line for an eternity, we checked out, got creeped on the way out of the parking lot, saw a ghetto van blasting Daddy Yankee, and zoomed (we weren't in Jul's Subaru, so it wasn't Zoom Zoom, just zoom.) our way back to Levittown.

And that was my night. I plan on posting small vignettes about my ventures for all to see. That's what I used to do on livejournal, deadjournal, and xanga when I was maddd younger. Shout out to Shannon for that one. Speaking of Shannon...way to call me girl! Who knows if you are stuck in the wintry mix of Oregon!

Anyway, I leave in 4 days, and I'm not ready for any of it. I feel so lucky for having this opportunity, and am completely exciting for just about everything involved in it. At the same time, I don't know if I have ever been so scared in my life.

To all who read, I haven't even left yet and I miss you already!!

....oh yeah Craig....this blogspot thing is ballin'.
